I raved about Your Mechanic and convinced a single mom I know to call them. Not only did they charge $35 more than the agreed to amount for diagnostic, they're saying they charged so much because she booked two appts, this is not true.

The mechanic replaced something, insisted it was fixed and that it needed an immediate oil change. The mechanic drove her car in a loop in her culdesac, less than 5 miles per hour, not a real test drive. The mechanic then told her the car was fixed. After paying an additional $335 for the repair, the single mom was too broke to pay for oil change so she did not drive the car until payday, 3 days later.

She was headed only to get the oil change and the car broke down again, same problem as before, only worse. Now she's out $440.

She called to express that the car is worse than before the repair, same problem, Your Mechanic sends a second mechanic to check her car and this time she is told by the mechanic, after he does a diagnostic, that he cannot tell her anything and she needs to call customer service. This girl is stranded and broke, what is Your Mechanic going to do to remedy this farce?
